Frank’s Bio Page

Born Nov. 6, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, I literally came into this world with a song in my heart. By the age of thirteen had written my first song.

I’ve always been active in graphic arts, photography, and songwriting.  Prior to my move to Tennessee, I was an Art Director for General Dynamics Land Division, in Troy, Michigan.  With ten years of service under my belt, my own department, and the promise of a second department to manage, I gave them four weeks notice of resignation.  That was the first step taken in the belief that I was being lead by the Divine Spirit within… to my Spiritual Destination.

The move to Tennessee, in 1987, felt like coming home. Within two months of my move, I wrote a song entitled, “Lady Liberty.”  It was recorded and soon climbed to #88, with a bullet, in the national charts.  To put back into the garden of life, which provided so well, I began to do service work within the community.  (i.e. President of the Gallatin Cancer Society, on the Board of Directors for the Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center, on the Board of Directors for the Adopt A Family Christmas Program, provided support services for the local Police/Fire organizations, the Humane Society, etc.)

Johnny Cash was the first person to ever get me on stage to sing.  I was helping him with a benefit show and wrote a theme song for it.  Upon singing it for Johnny, he looked at me and said, “You wrote it, you can sing it!”  The first time ever singing on stage, I had to follow Johnny Cash & Waylon Jennings!

My wife, Jane, and I simply go wherever we are needed.  We sing our original songs at churches, spiritual gatherings, nursing homes, hospice facilities, rehab centers, and wherever God leads us.
